The first time I met Brooke, we had just learned we would be sharing a tiny room with 3 other girls on a YWAM base in Northern Ireland. After being roommates for 4 months, we graduated to living across the hall in a freezing cold hotel in Chongqing, China in the dead of winter. Needless to say, we have a LOT of wild memories together. From celebrating my 18th birthday in Belfast and waking up in a linen closet at Queens University, to sharing earphones singing Imogen Heap while walking the streets of China.
And now she’s getting marriiiieeeeeeed!!!!!!
We took these photos a couple weeks ago, when the smoke was thick and the fog was thicker.
And with today being the Autumn Equinox, I couldn’t help myself but to share this most fall-ish collection of photos with you.

It was freezing cold with gale force winds.

With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, I thought it was as good a time as any to get back into the rhythm of blogging. I don’t know how many people even scroll through these pages, but I sure love being able to look back upon images of GOOD times. If these strange days have taught me anything, it’s that there is a lot to be grateful for, if you know where to look.

My actual job description is to be invited into the small and sacred spaces of another human’s story, to bear witness to the energy exchange between bodies and souls, to listen first and document second. And the magic of << ALL THAT << is far from lost on me.
