I live with one foot in this world and the other in a world very much of my own making. As a child, my bedtime stories existed in lands like Narnia and Middle Earth. My imagination was raised to run wild as the wind. I can often be found with my nose in a book, toes in the sand, or having a tea party with my daughter.

Some fun facts about me: I hate wearing shoes, drink an average of 4 cups of tea per day, wear a LOT of black, quote movies like it's my job, sing at the top of my lungs or not at all, met the love of my life when I was 11 years old, we played in a band together, got married at 19, and had a miracle baby named Phoenix.

I am: a dreamer, a mother, a wanderer, a rain-dancer, a writer, a wine-drinker, a yogi, a singer, an ocean-air-breather, and a storyteller. I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember (if you want to get specific, I got my first 35mm film camera when I was 8 years old). I've been telling stories for as long as I can remember. I've been dreaming BRILLIANTLY for as long as I can remember. I believe there is both darkness and light inside all of us, and each piece is just as beautiful and important as the other.
