It is such a gift to get to tag along on a couple’s love story.
If you know me at all, you know that photographing a professional mermaid is basically all of my deepest photographer dreams manifested into reality.

Well, for Lester & Ariel, Covid just moved some things around. They got engaged, started planning their wedding, and BAM — Covid. But a quick (and unexpected) course change led them to a beautiful baby boy growing inside this goddess’ body.
Children are already bright little lights in our world, but when the night is dark, they shine all the brighter.
So if that’s not making lemonade out of lemons, I don’t know what is.
