Paul & Autumn got married on New Year’s Day, which happened to be the only sunny day in a long streak of rainy days here on the Central Coast.
In front of their children, immediate family, and best friends, they exchanged vows and rings to the sound of crashing waves and seagulls cheering them on.
They shared their first dance alone with me and my camera as the sun sank into the Pacific, and it was absolutely perfect.

I ended my 2022 wedding season, tromping through the sun soaked hills with Julia & Cole.
These two had a sweetness to their love that one could almost taste. The way they looked at each other, giggled with each other, and held one another were all the things photographer dreams are made of.

There’s this quote in one of my favorite books, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho , that says “So I love you, because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.” Dana & Tyler embody that quote on an otherworldly level — the story of how their unique threads in this human tapestry finally found their way to crossing is enough to make your face hurt from smiling.

Edgar and Jes’ wedding by the sea was something out of a romance novel.
Complete with a blustery day that broke through with sunlight right as the bride walked down the aisle, and a surprise twist during dinner 🙂
