This family obviously holds the utmost special-est place in my heart, because they happen to be MY family — my brother, his gorgeous partner, and my darling little tornado of a nephew. He’s the only chaos I’ve ever loved this intensely. I especially love that my parents and Phoenix got to crash their family photo shoot. This is your sign to ALWAYS invite the grandparents. You can never have too many photos of grandparents.
On that note — summer mini sessions are next weekend! And there’s still a few slots left!

How many things can I say about how much I adore the Gomes family?

There is something so incredibly special about photographing a family in their own home — where shoes are optional and kids feel 133% safe to be themselves.

Being this family’s lifetographer is one of my greatest joys.

These are the days. The days when your entire life — body and soul — have changed. The days when a tiny, squishy human has made the trip from womb to homestead. You are tired, emotional, a little broken, and starry eyed with wonder. You wonder what was so important in your life before this, because for these first few weeks, THIS is all there is. You are starstruck to meet this person, and didn’t know such a capacity for love existed before meeting them.
