Paul & Autumn got married on New Year’s Day, which happened to be the only sunny day in a long streak of rainy days here on the Central Coast.
In front of their children, immediate family, and best friends, they exchanged vows and rings to the sound of crashing waves and seagulls cheering them on.
They shared their first dance alone with me and my camera as the sun sank into the Pacific, and it was absolutely perfect.

In an age filled with such darkness and uncertainty, the birth of a child is simultaneously the most terrifying and hopeful event of our time. Matt & Adrienne are about to shatter the dark night with their baby born of starlight.
It was freezing cold with gale force winds.
But you would never know it based on Elowen’s smile above.
It’s no secret how near and dear this family is to my heart. Watching and documenting these girls grow is one of my greatest honors.
And seeing as we’re doing Larken’s ONE YEAR (!!!!!) photos next week, I thought I should catch up and post this session we did for her 6 month milestone last fall.
