Paul & Autumn got married on New Year’s Day, which happened to be the only sunny day in a long streak of rainy days here on the Central Coast.
In front of their children, immediate family, and best friends, they exchanged vows and rings to the sound of crashing waves and seagulls cheering them on.
They shared their first dance alone with me and my camera as the sun sank into the Pacific, and it was absolutely perfect.

Folks who love to laugh are my kind of people. Tino & Zoe emanate joy and emotion like no one I have ever seen. The way they look at each other, hold each other, laugh with each other — it’s the stuff of photographer’s dreams. And I am so grateful not only to know them, but to have gotten to share this incredibly special day with them.

Well, for Lester & Ariel, Covid just moved some things around. They got engaged, started planning their wedding, and BAM — Covid. But a quick (and unexpected) course change led them to a beautiful baby boy growing inside this goddess’ body.
Children are already bright little lights in our world, but when the night is dark, they shine all the brighter.
So if that’s not making lemonade out of lemons, I don’t know what is.
