Ragged Point Inn Wedding – Neil & Sindy

Some might say you only get one great love in your life time. These two, a widow and a widower, are living proof that is hogwash. A year and a half after his wife’s passing, on her birthday, Neil’s wife came to him in a dream and revealed to him the face of a beautiful redheaded woman. With the help of Match.com and nudges from beyond the veil, it took three days of clicking through profiles before he finally found her — the woman from his dream. She was 850 miles away. Hundreds of hours talking on the phone eventually led to plane tickets for a real life meetup, where it became clear their souls were linked on an inexplicable level.

Which led us to this wedding. The wedding to rule all weddings.
From the processional set to the Game of Thrones theme, to the honoring of great spirits represented by great birds, to their fairy princess granddaughter tossing magical selenite dust everywhere she went (a jar of which Neil’s first wife kept for years and years, promising it was meant for something incredible, she just couldn’t say what) — every single moment was a thread in the tapestry of their love story. A story I am beyond honored to have been a witness to and sacred documenter of.

Ren & April – Paso Robles Wedding

There is something so incredibly special about backyard weddings. Every view, every room, every speck of dirt is personal.
Not to mention, even the dog gets to be in attendance!!!

Queen of the Riverbed – San Luis Obispo Boudoir

There once was a girl who didn’t know she was Queen.
With trepidation she arrived to an unfamiliar terrain, unsure of what to expect.
But when the wind rose to meet her,
and the flowers bowed in reverence,
and the water closed around her in an embrace —
She beheld her kingdom,
and knew she was home.

Ocean Goddess – San Luis Obispo Boudoir

There once was a goddess with hair the color of burning embers.
Not many ocean goddesses could live with such fire, but she could.
You see, the two elements were often at odds and one would always destroy the other.
But this burning beauty had learned to dance with her adversity, instead of submitting to it.
And dance, she will.
