Truth be told, I love a million things about my job. But lately, my absolute favorite part is seeing that even when it seems our world is crumbling around us -- JOY is still possible in our world that LOVE still wins. With the daily bombardment of tragedy and sadness, I know I can count on seeing people smiling, dancing, and loving one another every weekend.
Carly & Emily's wedding was no exception.
The way these two women love one another, look at one another, hold one another -- it's an inspiration to humans everywhere.
I cannot tell you how important it is to have a REALLY GOOD first wedding of the year.
That first wedding is what catapults you into a full season of documenting the BEST DAY of people's lives.
Robert & Brianna's wedding was colorful, sun-soaked, and went flawlessly.
I love witnessing all the little details of a couple's wedding day - the small things that make that day THEIRS and no one else's. One of my favorite pieces from this day was the story behind the bride's shoes: Bri's grandmother unexpectedly passed away this year, but not before she had a chance to pick out a pair of glittery pink sandals to wear to the wedding. Those sandals still made it to the wedding, only on Bri's feet instead. What a sweet and memorable way to keep your grandmother close on your wedding.
I think it's safe to say my 2016 is going to be AMAZING.
