Once upon a time, I met a fellow photographer named Lindsey Gomes. From our friendship was born a vision of creating spaces for photographers to gather and stretch their creative muscles. Almost exactly 4 years ago, we hosted our very first workshop. We now call ourselves Linden Clover and are currently in the throes of planning our 4th and most magical workshop yet!!!
Our heart is to hold space for photographers to leave comparison at the door and enter into a place of friendship, inspiration, and creative renewal. Looking back on how our workshop has grown and transformed over the last 4 years, I cannot help to feel humbled and overwhelmed by gratitude.
The following images are from our most recent workshop in Fall of 2016. It was 3 days and 2 nights of delicious eats, wine grown in the surrounding hills, and laughter abundant. If your creative heart needs a breath of fresh air, or you find yourself in desperate need of a community you can count on to encourage you and challenge you for years to come --- THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU. Don't overthink it. Your business needs it, and you have earned it.
{Registration is open until March 1st & we're over halfway sold out already}
When I first looked up the weather forecast for my big weekend of weddings in Kauai (spoiler alert: this is wedding number one of TWO) and saw rain and thunder clouds across the board, my heart fell a little bit. But then I remembered that rain never fails to make for an epic wedding story and beautifully dramatic photos. Boy was I right.
Colleen is a dear friend and industry college of mine, and so when she asked me to photograph her intimate backyard wedding the same weekend I was already going to be in Kauai, I couldn't say 'YES' fast enough. Ryan & Colleen make for a deadly cocktail of sarcasm, silly faces, and practical jokes - and their wedding was 100% true to THEM. From the first look surprise (just wait) to the relocation of dinner tables (you'll see), their wedding day was truly one of a kind and I just wish I could do it over and over and over again.
