Linden Clover | The Workshop - Tribe Edition

Once upon a time, I met a fellow photographer named Lindsey Gomes. From our friendship was born a vision of creating spaces for photographers to gather and stretch their creative muscles. Almost exactly 4 years ago, we hosted our very first workshop. We now call ourselves Linden Clover and are currently in the throes of planning our 4th and most magical workshop yet!!!

Our heart is to hold space for photographers to leave comparison at the door and enter into a place of friendship, inspiration, and creative renewal. Looking back on how our workshop has grown and transformed over the last 4 years, I cannot help to feel humbled and overwhelmed by gratitude.

The following images are from our most recent workshop in Fall of 2016. It was 3 days and 2 nights of delicious eats, wine grown in the surrounding hills, and laughter abundant. If your creative heart needs a breath of fresh air, or you find yourself in desperate need of a community you can count on to encourage you and challenge you for years to come --- THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU. Don't overthink it. Your business needs it, and you have earned it.

And if those photos weren't enough to spark a fire in your soul, maybe this awesome video by Dustin Ensign will do the trick :)

If you've mastered a new technique and want to help others in your local photography community, host a workshop or meet-up to share information. To help get word out and attract your peers, register the event online and promote using social channels so they know where, when and what they can expect to learn! There's no better time to plan furthering your education than the start of a new year, and collaborating with peers is a great way to do so any time of the year.

{Be You} Workshop // Peter & Emily

A few weeks ago, I co-hosted my first ever workshop with the lovely Lindsey Gomes (see her blog post from the day by clicking HERE).
Looking back, I still can't believe it actually happened. When I think back on the time I got to spend with the 10 girls who attended, my heart feels like it's going to explode with confetti and happiness. I could write a novel on the emotions I experienced going into and coming out of the day, the honor of meeting so many beautiful souls who came from near and far to hang out with Lindsey and I, and the sheer bliss (and yes, maybe a little terror) of sharing a little piece of my passionate heart --- but I'll spare you.

{a HUGE shout-out to the lovely people that volunteered their time and creativity}
