I've said it a million times, but I'll say it again: the honor and magic of being invited into people's lives to document their big transitions is the best part of my job. hands down.

Who needs engagement photos, when you could have your first-ever family photos instead?
Nothing like a surprise pregnancy while in the throes of planning a wedding.
Jon & Lindsey took it in stride, and parenthood looks damn GOOD on them.
As far as surprises go, babies take the cake. I should know.
Fact: I LOVE that my job doesn't always end after documenting a couple's wedding day.
Carey & Gracie were married 3 years ago in the tiny town of Tincup, Colorado.
Now they have an adorable almost-2-year-old named August. So much has changed, but it still manages to rain any time we get together for photos (the very last photo here gives me all of the deja vu vibes).
Almost 2 years ago, Drew & Renee celebrated their wedding day at this very ranch,
and last week we celebrated their new family in the same hills.
Getting to continue documenting a couple's love story is truly one of the greatest parts about my job.
