When I was a child, my bedtime stories were filled with woodland elves, giant spiders, black riders, hobbits, and all things Tolkien.
When I was in high school, I was often lost in my own world with my nose in a book or teaching myself a mythical language.
Though I am now an adult, I am still forever searching for ways to bring those magical lands to life through my lens.
So you can imagine my excitement when Colleen asked if I would want to bring Middle Earth to life in the form of a wedding inspiration shoot. And who else could possibly pose as our Elven lovebirds but my childhood best friend and muse, Quin, and her husband Tony?!

And so when the incredible April (of April Flowers) asked me to document her growing family, I could not have been more honored.
Words cannot express how much I adore this little family. They are equal parts depth and light-heartedness.

there is nothing quite like the first wedding of the year.
